DOB-approved instructors, and subject-matter experts). Our programs satisfy New York City requirements under Local Law 196 of 2017 and the NYC Construction Codes (Chapter 33) for Site Safety Training (SST), scaffold use, and supervisor licensing prerequisites, as well as NYSDOT Work Zone Traffic Control §619 for flagging on street/roadway projects

A. OSHA 30-Hour Construction (OSHA-30)

In-depth construction safety for workers, forepersons, and supervisors. Required under NYC Local Law 196 and BC §3321. Covers OSHA rights, Focus Four hazards, scaffolds, fall protection, and more. Outcome: OSHA-30 card (DOL). Counts toward NYC SST Worker/Supervisor pathways.

A. SST 10 (10-Hour Site Safety Training)

For workers with OSHA-30 needing an additional 10 hours to meet the 40-hour SST Worker requirement under Local Law 196. Includes elective DOB-approved safety topics. Outcome: 40-Hour SST Worker Card.

SST 62 (Supervisor)

Required 62-hour Site Safety Training for Site Safety Managers, Coordinators, and Superintendents per BC §3321. Outcome: SST Supervisor Card valid 5 years.

40-Hour Site Safety Manager (SSM)

Prerequisite for NYC Site Safety Manager license under Title 28/DOB regulations. Covers Chapter 33 safety, risk management, and compliance. Outcome: 40-Hour SSM Course Certificate.

4-Hour Work Zone Flagger Certification

Required for personnel directing traffic in work zones under NYSDOT Work Zone Traffic Control Manual §619. Outcome: Work Zone Flagger Certificate valid 3–4 years.

4-Hour Supported Scaffold User/Refresher

Mandatory for anyone using supported scaffolds in NYC per BC §3314.4.5.2. Outcome: Supported Scaffold User Certificate (DOB-approved).

NCCER Certification

Recognized for specialized construction crafts and crane operation credentials under 1 RCNY

§104-09. Outcome: NCCER Certificate for applicable crafts or supervisory training.

Compliance support & Workforce readiness

Instructor Qualifications

All facilitators are OSHA-authorized outreach trainers, DOB-approved SST/Scaffold instructors, and industry professionals with field experience in safety management.

Delivery Options & Administration

Courses may be delivered onsite or virtually (as permitted by DOB). We manage attendance, ID verification, and issue OSHA cards, SST cards, and completion certificates.
